Lucas named Rita Allen Foundation Scholar

Lucas has been named a Rita Allen Foundation Scholar. Lucas Farnung has been designated the Milton E. Cassel Scholar for the 2023 class of Rita Allen Foundation Scholars. This special award honors the memory of a longtime President of the Rita Allen Foundation who passed away in 2004.

Through the Rita Allen Foundation Scholar Program, the Farnung Lab will receive up to $110,000 per annum in the next five years. The funding will allow the Farnung Lab to investigate processes at the intersection of chromatin, transcription, and epigenetics!
